Former Celtic boss Neil Lennon has been fined for a bust-up with an opposition boss in the game before his epic meltdown in the Cypriot Cup Final.
The former Celtic manager led his ten-men Omonia Nicosia side to penalty shootout glory against Ethnikos Achnas but he was sent off in extra time for protesting at refereeing decisions.
Lennon will now be in the Europa League with his new side next season after their Cup heroics although he's sure to face sanctions from the Cypriot FA.
However, the day after the cup final win, Lennon received his first fine from the Mediterranean island's FA's disciplinary committee for an outburst during a match last week against PAEEK Kyrenia.
The Cypriot Football Association's disciplinary chief Aristotelis Vryonidis stated: "There was a complaint regarding Neil Lennon, coach of Omonia Nicosia for unsportsmanlike behaviour he showed to the coach of the opposing team in the 30th, 32nd and 40th minute of the match.
"This was in violation of Article 4 (c) of the Disciplinary Regulations of the association. The decision is a fine to Mr Lennon."
