Neil Lennon has added another Celtic favourite to his ranks over in Cyprus with the addition of forward Gary Hooper.
The former Hoops midfielder and boss has already signed Adam Matthews for Ominia Nicosia this summer while ex-Rangers winger Brandon Barker has also made the move abroad. Now Hooper makes the switch on a one-year deal after spells in foreign lands with Wellington Phoenix in the A-League and Kerala Blasters of India.
A statement from the Cypriot Cup holders reads: "We announce the acquisition of the 34-year-old English striker, Gary Hooper, who played for Wellington Phoenix last season. The cooperation contract is for one year. Gary Hooper spent much of his career at Celtic FC, with whom he won two league titles and two cups, played in the UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League groups and was once the league's top scorer. We welcome Gary Hooper to the Omonia family and wish him every success!"

It was a goal-laden period for Hooper at Parkhead following his 2010 move from Scunthorpe United, working with Lennon during his three years there.
He netted an impressive 82 times in 138 matches and it's the club he has scored the most goals at in his career.
Exciting fixtures await him this month and throughout autumn, with Omonia involved in a Europa League group stage section with Manchester United, Real Sociedad and FC Sheriff.
