The revelation that Natalie Imbruglia dated one of her much older co-stars during her time on Neighbours has left fans in shock, as they tuned into watch the soap's final episode.
And the man in question is none other than Paul Robinson himself, actor Stefan Dennis, 17 years her senior. While the fact that two of the show's biggest stars were once an item off-set, as Natalie's character Beth was embroiled in an infamous love triangle with Brad Willis and Lauren Carpenter, was known to some die hard Neighbours viewers, news that they dated came as a huge surprise to those watched Neighbours Night on Channel 5.
The subject of Stefan character Paul's evil scheming over the years came up in a special which aired straight after the Neighbours finale, as did the small matter of Torn singer Natalie's million selling music career and it was then that, after searching their names in Google that a recent interview came up where Stefan spilled the beans to Stellar Magazine on their romance, saying it was a 'well kept secret,' and adding: "‘There was a rumour that I was making my way through the female cast.

It didn't take long for Twitter to be awash with shocked reactions, with one aghast Neighbours viewer posting: "Wow - Natalie Imbruglia and Stefan Dennis used to date? Never knew that!" Equally taken aback by the news, another tweeted: "Stefan Dennis and Natalie Imbruglia?! WTF? Did everybody else know this??"
Picking up on that and another bombshell involving Susan Kennedy, a third wrote: "This show is full of revelations! Paul Robinson had sex with Natalie Imbruglia?! Susan Kennedy is from Northern Ireland?! Mind blown."
The Neighbours finale proved to be a real tear-jerker for fans as Toadie and Mel got married, Mike and Jane and Paul and Terese got back together and Jackie, in the role of Susan, gave a moving monologue as the final scenes played out.
