Neighbours has shared first-look shots of its new series as filming gets underway.
The much-loved soap was axed by Channel 5 last year, but was saved by Amazon Freevee following a relentless fan campaign.
The soap's official Twitter page has now released two photos with the new series' core cast members with the caption: "Lights, camera, action, let's go! Brand new Neighbours is officially in production!"
Neighbours veteran Alan Fletcher, who plays Karl Kennedy, can be seen posing with a 'day one' clapperboard and a glass of bubbly alongside Rebekah Elmaloglou (Terese Willis), Annie Jones (Jane Harris), Lucinda Cowden (Melanie Pearson) and Stefan Dennis (Paul Robinson).
In another snap, the gang grin next to a bunch of balloons as they get ready to get back to work.
Fans were bereft when Channel 5 announced it was the end of the road for Ramsay Street last year with stars of the show including Kylie Minogue and Jason Donovan getting together for a send-off special.
However just months later it was announced Neighbours had been saved - along with much of its beloved characters.
Lucinda Cowden, who plays Melanie Pearson, is one of the most recent additions to the new Neighbours cast, having been confirmed to appear in the last couple of days.
She is set to star alongside Toadie Rebecchi, played by Ryan Maloney, who campaigned for the actress to return.
Jackie Woodburne, Georgie Stone and Tim Kano are also expected to return as part of the regular cast, reprising their roles of Susan Kennedy, Mackenzie Hargreaves and Leo Tanaka respectively.
Fans will also be keeping a look out for guest appearances from Ian Smith as Harold Bishop, April Rose Pengilly as Chloe Brennan, and Melissa Bell as Lucy Robinson.
The Aussie soap welcomed back a host of famous faces for the "last ever" episode last summer as the long-running drama came to an end.
Kylie Minogue, 54, had fans in tears as she rocked up in dungarees playing Charlene, with many eighties kids transported straight back to their childhood.
However sources in Melbourne claimed the pop star felt 'duped' after it was revealed Neighbours was returning.
An insider told Mail On Sunday : "Kylie has apparently got a bit of the hump about it all. It's a case of why did she and others make the effort to go back. She and the others were told it was the end.
"She knows what she owes to Neighbours and she would have always done it, but it does all seem a little baffling."
