A 93-year-old who went missing from his home in Kerry has been found safe and well, CorkBeo reports.
A national appeal had gone out after Liam Brassil disappeared from his home in Cahersiveen on Thursday afternoon - with locals, the gardai, fire brigade, Banna Rescue, and Civil Defence coming out to search for him.
Anyone who had info on his whereabouts were asked to contact gardai as his family were desperate to find him safe.

Thankfully there was an update on Friday evening, as Liam was found near his home by a neighbour and was safe and well.
The gardai last night stood down their appeal and thanked everyone who helped with the efforts.
A spokesperson said: "Liam Brassil has been located safe and well. No further media action is required. An Garda Síochána would like to thank the media and the public for their assistance."
