NEW DELHI: Former Pakistan cricketer Basit Ali responded to Ravi Shastri's prediction that India will secure a hat-trick of Test series wins in Australia ahead of the upcoming Border-Gavaskar Trophy. Basit suggested that statements from Indian and Australian experts are attempts to create hype around the series but believes nothing matches the intensity of an India-Pakistan clash.
Basit Ali emphasized the unparalleled rivalry between India and Pakistan, stating that it surpasses even the historic Ashes series between England and Australia.
