The Easter bank holiday may be behind us, but there’s still plenty of opportunity to keep the holiday spirit alive, and this time, it could take you across the Channel.
Eurostar has kicked off a limited-time flash sale, offering one-way fares to some of Europe’s most popular city break destinations from just £35.
The deal, which launched today, spans routes to hotspots including Paris, Brussels, Amsterdam, Lille and Rotterdam.
Better still, the discounted fares are automatically applied online, meaning there’s no need to hunt for codes or jump through hoops at checkout.
However, travellers will need to act fast.
The sale runs for just five days, ending on April 13 at 10.59pm, and availability is expected to be snapped up quickly.
Where can you go for £35 in the Eurostar sale?
The headline £35 fare applies to direct routes within the Eurostar network, making it an appealing option for classic city breaks. These routes include Amsterdam, Paris, Brussels, Lille and Rotterdam.
While destinations such as Cologne or Düsseldorf are reachable via connections, they are not included in the lowest promotional fare.
For context, a standard one-way ticket to Amsterdam can often cost upwards of £70, meaning the sale effectively halves the price, a tempting incentive for anyone who’s been eyeing a canal-side getaway.
When can you travel?
Although the sale is live now, the discounted tickets are valid for travel between April 22 and July 8, giving passengers a generous window to plan spring and early summer escapes.
That said, there are several “blackout dates” where the offer won’t apply, particularly around weekends and peak travel periods in May and June. Travellers should check carefully before booking to ensure their preferred dates qualify for the discount.

How much is a return trip in the Eurostar sale?
With one-way fares starting at £35, a return journey can cost as little as £70, provided both legs fall outside the restricted dates and seats are still available.
For those with flexible plans, Eurostar’s lesser-known Snap service offers another way to cut costs.
The scheme allows passengers to book discounted last-minute tickets based on unsold seats, sometimes at up to 50 per cent off.
The catch? You won’t know your exact train time until 48 hours before departure, and tickets are non-refundable and non-changeable. It’s a gamble, but one that could pay off for spontaneous travellers.
