Half of adults make sure they see their closest friends at least once a week – with seven in ten saying they would feel “completely lost” without them, research has found.
A poll of 2,000 adults found that Brits have known their best friend for an average of 22 years, having met at work, university, or even secondary school.
And 32% message their closest pal daily, or multiple times a day – while half (49%) make sure they speak to them on the phone regularly.
