Over 1.9 million illegal cigarettes have been seized during a search at Dublin Port.
Revenue detector dog Waffle sniffed out the illegal stash which has a retail value of around €1.4 million and would have been a €1.1 million loss to the exchequer. They were marked with the "Manchester" brand and investigations are ongoing into the find.
It follows a massive garda raid yesterday evening which saw three men arrested. During the search there was €681k worth of drugs and multiple scramblers, scooters and boats seized.
