Nearly 100 more people are in work across North Lanarkshire than during this time last year.
The number of alternative claimant counts made in the area on May 23 was 7680 - a reduction of 95 on 12 months earlier.
Of the submitted counts, 1435 were by 18 to 24-year-olds and 1650 by people aged 50-plus.
