Right before Casa Amor opened its doors for another year, the Love Island villa was given another massive surprise, when music superstar Ne-Yo made an unexpected entrance to perform for the contestants.
Over the last few years, the Islanders on the ITV show have been treated to star turns from the likes of Craig David, Mabel and Becky Hill and, on Friday night, viewers at home will see Ne-Yo make his entrance to entertain, just as tension mounts between some of the couples. Ne-Yo is the singer responsible for giving the world smash hits like So Sick, Let Me Love You and Calvin Harris collaboration Let's Go and, having stunned them all with his appearance in the villa, Ne-Yo treats this year's Love Island stars to renditions of his tracks Miss Independent and Because of You.
Not holding back her admiration for him, Whitney shouts: "Love you," as Ne-Yo reciprocates by saying it back to her, with Catherine commenting: "Ne-Yo was just amazing. I sang my lungs out.”
