Tottenham's loan players have had a mixed timed of it with only a few of them getting on pitches across Europe in the past week.
Spurs currently have nine players out on loan across the Football League as well as in Italy, Spain, France and Sweden for the coming season. Some are young players who are getting much-needed experience to aid their development, while others are not part of Antonio Conte's plans and have been placed in the shop window with their season-long loans.
football.london takes a look at how all nine of the players out away from the club on loan got on this week and how they have been doing across their spells so far.

Destiny Udogie (Udinese)
There were two games for Udogie this week starting with 83 more minutes under his belt in Serie A on Sunday as he helped sixth-placed Udinese keep a clean sheet away against fifth-placed Lazio.
Then on Wednesday night he suffered defeat in the Italian Cup with a 3-2 loss at home against Monza in which the 19-year-old came on at half-time but was unable to prevent Udinese's exit from the competition.
Speaking recently to Italian publication La Repubblica, Udogie discussed his time in Serie A and his move to Tottenham next summer, claiming that he has yet to hear from Spurs boss Antonio Conte.
"Serie A helps me to grow. The months I remain here on loan in Udine will be important to improve myself further," he said, as reported by Inside Futbol. "With my head now I'm here. To say, I haven't heard from [Antonio] Conte yet.
"The Premier [League] however does not scare me. The game is fantastic and I have always spoken English at home with my parents born in Nigeria."
Joe Rodon (Rennes)
Rodon had an enforced week off in Ligue 1 as his red card late on in the 3-0 win against Nantes last week meant he was unavailable for the 3-2 home victory against Lyon on Sunday due to suspension.
The Welshman had received the red card after committing a professional foul as the last man despite his side's lead and it cost him his place against Lyon.
Rennes are flying high with Rodon in the backline, sitting fifth in the table with just two defeats from 11 games.
Troy Parrott (Preston North End)
Parrott's season will take a big break after surgery on his hamstring this week.
There was a mixture of elation and despair earlier this month when the 20-year-old Republic of Ireland international came off the bench against Norwich to score the winner for Preston - his first Championship goal - as they secured a big 3-2 victory at Carrow Road.
However, the striker appeared to injure himself during the celebrations and will now be out until after the World Cup.
This week Parrott posted a photo of himself on social media in his hospital bed with a brace around his left leg, with the caption: "Hamstring surgery went well, road to recovery starts now and I’ll be doing everything in my power to be back doing what I love asap. God gives the toughest challenges to the toughest people."
Preston boss Ryan Lowe said of the injury: "He's had his scans and whatnot. It’s not as bad as we first thought, but we’re obviously in dialogue with Tottenham Hotspur as well now because he’s their player. I think the World Cup’s come at a good time for Troy because he will miss a large part, but the fact of the matter is we’ve got that break.
"We won’t have him for the foreseeable future, but after the World Cup when we’re back in action, hopefully he’s back fit and ready, so it’ll give us enough time not to rush. I’m gutted for Troy because obviously he just scored his first Championship goal as well. Although he’s been out the team, he’s been fantastic.
"He’s alright, he's in good spirits now. He’s got over it, and we’ve just got to make sure he’s alright for the next time he's available."
Dane Scarlett (Portsmouth)
Scarlett got 68 more minutes to his name as a first team player during Portsmouth's disappointing 3-0 defeat at Charlton in League One on Monday.
The 18-year-old has still been impressing his coaches and boss Danny Cowley at Portsmouth but has not scored for the club for more than a month since his little burst of goals in early September.
Scarlett is getting plenty of experience though and will be looking to get back on the goal trail when Portsmouth travel to Forest Green on Saturday.
Tanguy Ndombele (Napoli)
Ndombele made it back to back league starts for Napoli as he continues to integrate himself into the Serie A leader's team.
The Frenchman got 71 minutes on the pitch during Sunday's 3-2 victory at home against Bologna.
Ndombele got a score of 6.4 in WhoScored's player ratings for the game with a pass success rate of 89.4, the highest in his team's starting line-up and in an attacking performance he had four shots at goal and played two key passes. He also won one aerial duel in a busy display in the centre of the park.
Harry Winks (Sampdoria)
Winks is yet to make an appearance for Sampdoria as he tries to overcome a troublesome ankle problem. He had only completed one training session with the group before the problem flared up.
There have been some reports in Italy that the Serie A side could look to end his loan move prematurely in January if he is unable to regain his fitness with the player training alone as he awaits some kind of progress with the injury. He has not featured in any of the club's 11 games this season so far and is currently listed by the club as simply unavailable.
Sergio Reguilon (Atletico Madrid)
Reguilon is another player yet to make an appearance for his new club since leaving Tottenham ahead of the summer transfer deadline. Returning to Madrid as he linked up with Atletico, the left-back has been trying to get back to fitness after surgery on the groin issue he had back in April.
Reguilon will be hoping to be back sooner rather than later as it won't be long until domestic football pauses for the World Cup.
Giovani Lo Celso (Villarreal)
Lo Celso is a doubt for Villarreal's game at Barcelona on Thursday evening after missing the 2-0 victory at Osasuna in La Liga on Monday.
Unlike Winks and Reguilon though, the Argentine has been playing regularly for his side since arriving with 11 games under his belt, 714 minutes of action and one goal.
Alfie Whiteman (Degerfors)
Whiteman was on the bench on Friday for Swedish side Degerfors in their 1-1 draw at Elfsborg as he is eased back in after sustaining a concussion a few weeks back following a nasty blow early on against AIK.
Degerfors were due to welcome Gothenburg on Thursday evening and the Spurs goalkeeper, who has been on the bench for the past couple of games, will want to return to the starting line-up sooner rather than later.
