NDIS gap leaves thousands with no psychosocial support

People living with significant psychosocial disability are being left unsupported and at risk of homelessness and hospitalisation despite billions of dollars spent on the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).

Psychosocial disability refers to the functional impairment people can face as a result of their mental health challenges and might cause them to find it difficult to secure and keep a job, make and maintain friendships and relationships, or manage finances.
