Ncuti Gatwa has spilled the details on an epic-sounding Barbie movie cast night out.
The Sex Education star, 30, is set to make his Hollywood debut in the upcoming film based on the iconic doll — and clearly loved the experience.
In the Greta Gerwig-directed flick, which is due for release on July 21, the Rwandan-Scottish actor plays one of the Ken dolls.
He has recalled how co-star Margot Robbie took all of the Barbies and Kens out in London to see Magic Mike Live and described it as “one of the best nights of my life”.
“That was… I don’t know how I made it through any filming in the week after, my voice was gone from screaming so much,” he told Rolling Stone UK.
“The videos in the group chat the next morning were the best. Greta Gerwig’s assistant was pulled up on stage and given a lap dance and Greta was screaming in delight.”
He added: “Afterwards, we went and danced our hearts out. Margot is a very, very good party host. She’s queen of the vibes.”
Ryan Gosling, Emma Mackey, Kate McKinnon, Will Ferrell, Issa Rae and Dua Lipa also also part of the star-studded cast.
