NCC rejigs, rebrands in digital era push

Mr Sakchai, centre, along with the management team of N.C.C. Management & Development.

N.C.C. Management & Development (NCC), the operator of Queen Sirikit National Convention Center, has announced a corporate restructuring and rebranding as part of a digital era push for the new convention centre, which is set to open in September this year.

All three subsidiary companies -- N.C.C. Image, N.C.C. Exhibition Organizer and N.C.C. International Events -- will become part of N.C.C. Management & Development.

The consolidation is in response to ever-changing market demand in the digital era while also becoming more agile and flexible towards a business proposition that values innovation, creativity and sustainability.

NCC has also adopted the 3Ps principle, referring to product, people and process, as a cornerstone of its business restructuring and rebranding.

The product principle focuses on how to best serve customer needs with integrated solutions, ranging from management of a convention centre to food and beverage, design solutions, booth construction, exhibition management and conference management.

The people principle pays close attention to building and retaining talent to further leverage and sustain the business.

And, finally, the process principle aims to help NCC operate more efficiently and effectively by streamlining business processes and optimising resources.

Sakchai Pattarapreechakul, chief executive of NCC, explained the firm's decision to undergo these critical changes.

"The reason behind our business restructuring underlines not only the 3Ps strategy but also the execution of new digital technology to build up business potential and gear up for the opening of the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center in September," Mr Sakchai said.

"Most importantly, NCC has emphasised human capital development as we continuously encourage 'intrapreneurship' purposely to enhance sustainability and bring about the best outcome for the company as well as our customers," he said.

In addition, NCC has modified its logo with the capital letters "NCC" in a brighter shade of blue to highlight the simplified yet modern design to reflect the new business brand image and perspective.
