NCA signs off on next stage of Canberra's light rail

A project to link light rail from Canberra's city centre to Commonwealth Park has been signed off by a key federal government agency.

The National Capital Authority has granted works approval to stage 2A of the ACT government's light rail project, which will extend the line by 1.7 kilometres.
