Srinagar: The National Conference-Congress alliance won 48 seats in 90-member Jammu and Kashmir assembly, as per the Election Commission of India data.
BJP could win 29 seats while the PDP secured three seats. Seven Independents were also declared winners. AAP also oponed its account in Kashmir winning Doda seat.

Omar Abdullah win both seats
NC leader and Ex-J&K CM Omar Abdullah won both Budgam and Ganderbal seats. His father and NC chief Farooq Abdullah said that Omar Abdullah would become CM.
The assembly polls for the 90 seats were held in three phases between September 18 and October 1 after a gap of 10 years.

National Conference (NC) and Congress stitched a pre-poll alliance while the People's Democratic Party (PDP) and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) contested the polls seperately. Congress won 6 seats while NC won 42.
In 90-member assembly, 46 is majority mark to form the government.
