After a brutal blowout loss to the Boston Celtics to close a four-game road trip, the Golden State Warriors returned to San Francisco’s Chase Center on Wednesday night looking like they had something to prove against the Milwaukee Bucks.
The Warriors started rolling early against the Bucks and never took their foot off the gas.
With a strong first-half performance, the Warriors took a 20-point lead into halftime. When Milwaukee cut Golden State’s lead to six, the Warriors’ struggles with closing looked like they were creeping up again. However, a spark provided by Trayce Jackson-Davis off the bench helped the Warriors regain control.
Jackson-Davis tallied 15 points on 7-of-9 shooting from the field with seven boards and four blocks, including a pair of blocks on Antetokounmpo on the same possession.
Curry tacked on a game-high 29 points on 10-of-18 shooting with six made 3-pointers, eight rebounds and five assists in Golden State’s 125-90 win over Milwaukee.
After the Warriors snapped the Bucks’ six-game win streak on Wednesday night, the NBA community on X, formerly known as Twitter, exploded with reactions. Here’s a look at what fans and analysts were saying on social media on Wednesday night.

Impressive response win from the Warriors. Blasted a Bucks team that came in hot: 125-90. Steph Curry finishes with a pretty easy 29 points. Jonathan Kuminga 20 on 9/14 FG. Trayce Jackson-Davis had 15 pts, 7 rebs and 4 blks (3 on Giannis) in 19 minutes. Record: 33-28.

Warriors withstand the Bucks’ 3rd quarter barrage, a good change for them in these kinds of game.
Jackson-Davis with some big minutes, recording his four 4th the game with at 3+ blocks. He’s the first player this season to block Giannis four times in a game, per @ESPNStatsInfo

The last time Draymond Green his two 3s in the fourth quarter was last year, Jan. 16 against Washington.
Warriors are 19-5 when Draymond hits two 4Q threes.
The last loss? Game 3 of the 2019 NBA Finals

I imagine their have been very few 50+ point losses followed by 35+ point wins throughout NBA history

Like I said on Monday morning, Warriors still have momentum.
