Although they have struggled on the road out of the gate, home games at Chase Center have helped the Golden State Warriors get back into the win column.
Coming off another road loss to the Phoenix Suns on Wednesday, the Warriors returned home on Friday night and cruised past the New York Knicks, 111-101.
Six different members of the Warriors registered double-figure scoring efforts against the Knicks, with Steph Curry leading the way. The reigning NBA Finals MVP continued his impressive run to start the season with 24 points, 10 assists and six rebounds.
Klay Thompson got the party going early, scoring 15 of his 20 points in the first half against the Knicks. Jordan Poole and JaMychal Green combined for 25 points off the bench to end the Knicks’ two-game road winning streak.
The Warriors will have another chance to end their losing streak on the road on Sunday against the Houston Rockets.
Following the Warriors’ win over the Knicks on Sunday, NBA Twitter chimed in with different reactions.

Warriors beat the Knicks 111-101.
Golden State's first half was some of their most complete basketball, a clear step in the right direction. But, they allowed their once-22-point lead to shrink down to single digits in the fourth. Still room for improvement.

Warriors down the Knicks 111-101 to improve to 7-9 this season. Golden State had six players in double figures, led by Stephen Curry's game-high 24 points. Great defensive effort. Klay Thompson let the game flow naturally tonight. JaMychal Green stepped up off the bench.

Stephen Curry finishes with 24 points on 9-of-19 shooting. He hit five 3-pointers for the eighth time this season — the most in the NBA. He's also averaging five 3's per game for the third time in his career. No other player has done this in league history H/t @ESPNStatsInfo

Warriors didn’t shoot spectacularly (45.1/36.0) but rebounded (51-45) and really defended (Knicks 34.5 FG). Klay Thompson’s first 50pct-shooting game (8/16) this season

Draymonds Playmaking Is On Another Level! pic.twitter.com/8aKJx2YcjM

It helps that Poole is so high up, it'd be difficult for Quickly to get in the paint to tag Draymond anyway
Basically, this play design makes sure there's no low man on the weak side to help – the usual designated man to help on PnRs
