After routing the Memphis Grizzlies in Game 6 of the first round of the NBA playoffs on Friday, the Los Angeles Lakers will be facing Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors in the Western Conference semifinals.
This could be an instant classic. It offers just about everything — two of the game’s all-time greats in Curry and LeBron James, additional stars and big names such as Anthony Davis, Klay Thompson and Andrew Wiggins, as well as two of the NBA’s marquee franchises, with one that’s the defending world champs and another that won it all just three years ago.
