The Oklahoma City Thunder were the talk of NBA Twitter on Saturday after pulling the upset win over the Dallas Mavericks despite trailing by as many as 16 points late in the fourth quarter.
A creative substitution from Thunder head coach Mark Daigneault that saw shooting specialist Isaiah Joe play the final five minutes of regulation was the shot in the arm the offense needed to force overtime.
The 3-3 Thunder would proceed to complete the comeback and win their third consecutive game behind Shai Gilgeous-Alexander’s 38-point performance.
Here are some of the best tweets from the Thunder’s 117-111 upset win against the Mavericks.

The Mavs managed to blow a 16-point lead in the last 3:57 of regulation and lose in OT to the Thunder. That would qualify as a bad loss.

Not sure what the Thunder are, but they're not a joke. SGA+ defense=competence. Shai looks like an All-Star. Am researching when Isaiah Joe will be supermax eligible.

Just an incredible road win over Dallas tonight. A historic comeback from 16 down with 4 min left. Isaiah Joe comes in for the first time all night with 5 min left and scores 15. Our Thunder now 3-3 with three straight wins against elite Western Conference teams. Thunder Up! pic.twitter.com/O9s8H5Pjzl

Mark Daigneault doesn’t get enough credit for being one of the BEST defensive coaches in the LEAGUE.
The Thunder are tied for the 6th best defense so far this year, after having a top-10 one the year before until Dort went down.
