NBA Twitter reacts to Steph Curry’s record-breaking MVP performance at 2022 All-Star Game

On a night where the NBA’s top players gathered in Cleveland for the 2022 edition of the All-Star Game, Golden State Warriors guard Steph Curry took over.

After drilling eight triples in the first half for Team LeBron, the two-time Most Valuable Player doubled down for another eight jumpers from beyond the arc in the second half to shatter the record for most made 3-pointers in a single All-Star game with 16.

Curry finished the contest with a game-high 50 points on 17-of-30 shooting from the field with five boards, two assists, two blocks and a steal in 36 minutes. Curry’s 50 points fell short of Anthony Davis’ single-game scoring record of 52 points from 2017.

After Team LeBron secured a victory over Team Durant in an intense close to the game with the Elam ending scoring format, Curry’s red-hot performance earned him the new Kobe Bryant All-Star Game Most Valuable Player trophy.

Following Curry’s record-breaking shooting display in an MVP performance at the All-Star Game, the NBA community on Twitter exploded with different reactions. Below is a look at what fans and analysts were saying on Sunday night.
