NBA Twitter reacts to Klay Thompson and Donte DiVincenzo leading Warriors to comeback win vs. Timberwolves, 109-104

After the Minnesota Timberwolves carried a nine-point lead into the fourth quarter, it looked like the Golden State Warriors were headed toward a home loss. However, Klay Thompson and Donte DiVincenzo weren’t ready to close the book before the fourth quarter on Sunday night.

Without Steph Curry, Andrew Wiggins and Draymond Green, the duo of Thompson and DiVincenzo sparked a late fourth-quarter run for the Warriors. In the final frame, Divincenzo tallied 10 points while Thompson added eight to steal a comeback by outscoring the Timberwolves 31-17 in the fourth quarter.

After DiVincenzo buried a triple to give the Warriors the lead with 3:02 remaining, Thompson followed with a 3-pointer of his own to give the Warriors a commanding six-point advantage with two minutes left on the clock. Following clutch jumpers from Anthony Lamb, Thompson and DiVincenzo, the Warriors secured their second straight win, 109-104.

Thompson led the game with 32 points on 12-of-23 shooting from the field with six made triples, five boards and four assists in 33 minutes. DiVincenzo added 21 points on 7-of-13 shooting from the floor with eight rebounds and five assists in 38 minutes.

Kevon Looney helped the Warriors on the glass with a double-double performance. Looney notched 12 points to go along with a game-high 17 rebounds in 32 minutes.

Following Golden State’s comeback win over Minnesota, the NBA community on Twitter exploded with different reactions. Here’s a look at what fans and analysts were saying on Sunday night.
