Rookie Wire released its latest NBA power rankings on Monday and the Oklahoma City Thunder (20-44) come in at 28th overall. The Thunder went 1-3 in its games during the week of Feb. 28 to March 6. This includes losses to the Sacramento Kings, Minnesota Timberwolves and Utah Jazz with its sole win coming against the Denver Nuggets.
“Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has led the way for the Thunder since returning after the All-Star break. He has scored at least 30 points in five of six games and is averaging 33.3 points, 6.7 assists, six rebounds and two steals during that span.”
Gilgeous-Alexander led the team in scoring at 33 points and in assists at 7.5 a game. Aleksej Pokusevski led the team on the glass at 8.8 rebounds.
