Injuries to left knee and leg will keep Stephen Curry out for a minimum of one week more before he can return to game-time for the Golden State Warriors in the NBA.
The ligament tears in knee and a leg contusion forced Curry to miss five games heading into the All-Star break. He suffered the injuries while playing against the Dallas Mavericks on February 4.
The news of Curry staying out of action for another week was shared by the Warriors on Twitter. That will keep him away for another four games.
The team said in a statement posted on Twitter that he would be sidelined another week before he is re-evaluated, meaning he will miss the Warriors' next four games.
The team resumes action in the wake of the All-Star break with a game against the Los Angeles Lakers on Thursday.
Curry missed 11 straight games in December and January with a left shoulder injury.
The reigning NBA champion Warriors are ninth in the Western Conference at 29-29, but are just 2.5 games behind the Los Angeles Clippers for the West's fourth seed.
Curry is averaging 29.4 points, 6.4 assists and 6.3 rebounds per game in the appearances he has made so far this season for the Warriors.
