After the winner of the Eastern Conference finals was decided in Game 7 on Sunday, the pair of teams for the NBA Finals are officially set. The Boston Celtics will meet the Golden State Warriors in the 2022 edition of the Finals to decide the NBA championship.
During the regular season, the Celtics and Warriors split their two-game series with one victory each.
To get to the NBA Finals, the Celtics eliminated the Heat, Milwaukee Bucks and Brooklyn Nets. The Warriors sent home the Dallas Mavericks, Memphis Grizzlies and Denver Nuggets to punch a ticket to the NBA Finals against the Celtics. The blockbuster series will feature an arsenal of star power with players like Steph Curry, Jayson Tatum, Klay Thompson, Jaylen Brown, Draymond Green, Marcus Smart and Jordan Poole.
