Let’s get this out of the way: It doesn’t matter one iota that Steph Curry hasn’t won an NBA Finals MVP, and that he may not win one in this series against the Boston Celtics if the Golden State Warriors win.
He’s an all time great, worthy of being in the conversation about belonging on the NBA Mount Rushmore.
That said, it’s pretty amazing that after Game 5 of the NBA Finals, a contest the Dubs won, he’s not in the lead for MVP in my mind after he went for the rarest of o-fers by hitting not a single three all night.
