The Nuggets beat the Heat, 109–94, in Game 3 of the NBA Finals on Wednesday night to take a 2–1 series lead.
Leading the way once again was Denver’s star, Nikola Jokić , who racked up another triple-double with 32 points, 21 rebounds, and 10 assists, which made him the first player in NBA Finals history to have a 30-20-10 game.
Jamal Murray also had a triple-double for Denver, finishing with 32 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists.
Jokić has been unstoppable during the playoffs and he’s also been very humble about it all. That continued after Game 3 when he didn’t really want to talk about his historic performance:
“I don’t care. It’s just a stat.” 😅

It’s so good to see the kind of players who still understand it is just stats, and when u don’t win, it isn’t as appreciated because winning trumps stats! Hopefully a large group of people will come to understand this! Don’t talk about numbers more, talk about winning more!💯🤷🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️ https://t.co/XLZNKu58Vh
