When the Bendigo Spirit's Meg McConnell took a leap of faith to play in the WNBL, her Indiana Pacers brother T.J. McConnell inspired her with some words of wisdom.

And with the competition's finals series just one week away, the 24-year-old is taking her conversation with the 2025 NBA runner up to heart.
