Nazi salutes at French synagogue: What happened to the Russian teen

A French court has sentenced a 19-year-old Russian man to eight months in prison and permanently barred him from entering France after he was caught making Nazi salutes near a synagogue in Sarcelles, a Paris suburb with a large Jewish population.

The case has drawn attention amid continuing concerns over antisemitism in France, home to Western Europe’s largest Jewish community.
