Chaitra navratri 2023, one of the annual Hindu festivals which holds immense religious significance, will be observed from March 22. The nine day long festival will end on March 30.
Chaitra navratri is different from the Sharada navaratri which we observe during September and October. This is one of the four navratris Hindus observe each year. The other two navratris fall in the month of Magha, which coincide with January and February and Ashada, which coincide with June and July months. While Magha navaratri is regionally observed, Ashadha navaratri is also known as gupta navaratri.
