Astrologer and Vastu expert, Dr Aarti Dahiya says that Navratri is one of the most majorly celebrated festivals in India. Some people feast while some people fast on but all of them worship Goddess Durga. These are the nine days of worship of the nine avatars of Goddess Durga, especially, for those who wish to attain strength, growth, and prosperity in their life. Goddess Durga observed various types of difficult fasts. The accomplishment of Shakti is best only when it is always with you, supports you at times of need, and brings you fame. Navratri, which starts from the Pratipada of Shuklapaksha in the month of Aashwin and lasts for nine days, is called Shardiya Navratri. Nav literally means nine and it is also called Nav i.e. new. The days start getting shorter during Shardiya Navratri. The weather starts changing. Nature starts getting wrapped in the blanket of winter. To ensure that the effect of change of season does not affect people, there is a rule of fasting for nine days during these days since ancient times. Nine forms of Mother Goddess are worshiped during Navratri. Goddess Durga is happy only with those who respect women. In a family where women are always respected, Goddess Durga and her blessings always remain there. The person who respects women is always blessed by Goddess Lakshmi. This Navratri, if you also want Goddess Durga blessings to shower in your life, then respect women.
