European nations have been urged by the US to increase their support for Kyiv, according to NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte. He emphasized the importance of Ukraine being closely involved in all discussions concerning its future.
Rutte echoed US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth's sentiments that any peace negotiations with Russia must result in a lasting solution. He stressed the need for a durable peace agreement that would prevent further attempts by Putin to encroach on Ukrainian territory.
