Nato planning full-scale force to defend its eastern borders against Russia, secretary general says

Nato is reportedly planning to deploy a permanent military force to defend the borders of its member nations against Russia.

Jens Stoltenberg, the secretary general of the alliance, said that the move would be an example of “the long-term consequences” of the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
