Nato chief Mark Rutte has engaged in a “frank and open discussion” with US President Donald Trump, attempting to address the US president's “clear disappointment” regarding the military alliance's response to the Iran war.
During their meeting in Washington, Mr Rutte highlighted the “positive” actions taken by Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer in attempting to secure the vital Strait of Hormuz shipping lane.
