NATO agrees to building of new cyber defense center

NATO has announced the creation of the NATO Integrated Cyber Defence Centre (NICC), which it said would “enhance the protection of NATO and Allied networks and the use of cyberspace as an operational domain.”

Announced at a summit held last week to commemorate NATO's 75th anniversary, the new facility, which will be situated at the Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe (SHAPE) in Belgium, aims to bolster the alliance’s resilience and response to digital threats.
