Nagpur: Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday said the nationwide caste census would happen in the country.
"Discussions are going on in Delhi over caste census. They are discussing how to do it and whether to do it or not. The caste census will happen and we will also break the 50 per cent (reservation cap) wall," Gandhi said while addressing the Samvidhan Samman Sammelan in Nagpur.
'Fighting to secure justice'

"We have to inform the country that we are fighting to secure justice for over 90 per cent marginalised people in our country," he further said.
"Through caste census every section of India will know what their role is in the country, how much power and how much money they have," the Congress leader said.
