The National Television Awards returned with a bang this evening after a month-long delay following the Queen's death in September, with Joel Dommett hosting the glam event at Wembley's OVO Arena.
Prior to the event beginning on Thursday, the NTAs gifted their very first award to "trailblazing" comedian Sir Lenny Henry for his 50-year career.
As stars lined up to dazzle on the red carpet, two noticeable absences were that of the UK's beloved - and NTAs record-breaking - duo Ant and Dec.
The pair were sadly absent from night's show after contracting Covid, so have been forced to pull out of all of their TV commitments (including BGT). The pair won their 21st consecutive award in the TV presenter category, going up against fan favourite Alison Hammond in the process,
Meanwhile, This Morning won an NTA for best daytime show despite Holly and Phil's Queue-gate drama, sparking what some viewers reckoned were unimpressed looks from Loose Women stars and reportedly a few boos from the audience.
