National radio host thinks Titans could go worst to first

The Tennessee Titans no doubt sport a much better roster on both sides of the ball than they did last season, but is it fair to think they could go from worst to first in 2024?

It won’t be easy considering how loaded the Houston Texans are on paper, and how competitive the division is overall, but one national radio host, Rich Eisen, thinks it’s at least possible.

Eisen cites the Texans as a problem, but he’s also not ruling out the Indianapolis Colts making a run for the AFC South crown after falling one win short in 2023.

An offer for Titans fans

But Eisen is a fan of what the Titans have done this offseason in terms of the moves they made at wide receiver, offensive line, cornerback, and even running back. He’s a Jeffery Simmons fan, as well.

“Don’t sleep on the Tennessee Titans, folks,” Eisen said.

Any semblance of hype or respect for the Titans from the national media is rare, which is why Eisen’s comments are noteworthy.

Are the Titans capable of going from a 6-11 mark and last-place finish in 2023 to first place in the division in 2024? Absolutely, partly because they have much more talent, but also because anything can happen on a year-to-year basis in the NFL.

But the Titans’ ability to have that kind of season will depend on the arm of second-year signal-caller Will Levis, who has to clearly cement himself as the long-term answer at quarterback for Tennessee to make that kind of noise.
