Tonight’s National Lottery winning numbers are in and one lucky Brit could be £3.8million richer.

Ticket holders who match all the numbers tonight will win a life-changing fortune.

The National Lottery Lotto winning numbers are: 55, 25, 11, 18, 36, 13 and the bonus ball is 39.

Saturday also sees the Thunderball numbers drawn. The Thunderball jackpot is £500,000.

Tonight's Thunderball numbers are: 5, 13, 16, 17, 38 and the thunderball is 5.

If you have missed your chance to play tonight, you'll have to wait for the next Lotto draw on Wednesday.

But on the day tickets can only be purchased up to an hour before the draw takes place.

Most newsagents and supermarkets across the UK sell tickets from 8am to 11pm all year round (PA)

Each ticket costs £2. The draws take place every Wednesday and Saturday evening from around 7.45pm.

Lotto players need to pick six numbers from 1-59, and match at least two main numbers to win a prize.

Those lucky enough to match all six numbers could be set to receive the jackpot prize.

Meanwhile, anyone matching five numbers and the additional bonus ball could fetch a £1 million prize.

The Thunderball jackpot is worth up to £500,000 and there are draws every Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday at around 8.15pm.

Since 2004, the Big Lottery Fund has distributed £9.4billion raised by the National Lottery to 130,000 "good causes" across the UK.

As well as changing the lives of the prize winners, the National Lottery funds projects all over the UK.
