Pecker disclosed that Howard successfully negotiated a price of $30,000 to acquire the story.
Upon finalizing the agreement, Pecker contacted Michael Cohen to inform him of the transaction. Cohen, inquired about the source of the funds for the purchase, to which Pecker confirmed the deal. Cohen's response, as recounted by Pecker, was, 'The boss will be very pleased.'
