Georgia football is playing hosting five-star 2025 defensive lineman Elijah Griffin on June 1.
Griffin, the nation’s No. 1 overall prospect, per 247Sports, is coming off of visits to South Carolina and Clemson.
The Savannah, Ga., native (Christian Prep) visited Athens for the Bulldogs’ ‘G-Day’ spring game in April.
“Had a great time,” Griffin told 247Sports’ Steve Wiltfong last month. “It’s a great city. I see myself playing there. People there are awesome. It’s nice little college town. It’s overall a great atmosphere.”
Griffin (6-foot-3.5, 270 pounds) is reportedly considering Georgia and South Carolina as his top choices as he prepares for his junior season.
