Nathaniel Clyne has called on Crystal Palace to improve their finishing in front of goal as they look to climb the Premier League table.
The Eagles were held to a 0-0 draw against Liverpool on Saturday evening and failed to register a shot on target over the 90 minutes, and failing to find the back of the net meant they have only scored 21 goals in 24 Premier League games this season.
After the match, Palace boss Patrick Vieira said his side struggle with finishing chances and that they 'missed' scoring against the Reds. “The plan that we had, I believe the players executed really well today – the only thing that was missing was to score that goal," Vieira said.

For the right-back playing against his former club, Clyne admitted the club must be 'clinical' and pick up wins at Selhurst Park for the fans, who have not seen three points at home since a 1-0 win over Southampton on October 29.
“I think there’s still a lot of room for improvement," Clyne told Palace's website. “We haven’t won at home in a long time and I think we need to start picking up points, wins at home, especially for the fans, who deserve it. We’re going to keep trying hard and working hard in training and hopefully we can get the next win.
“It’s about taking our chances. We haven’t really been too clinical in front of goal in our [recent] run of form, and that’s something we need to change if we want to pick up all three points. It starts on the training ground and hopefully we can then replicate it on the matchday.
“We’re just concentrating on ourselves really, and putting in good performances. We just need to get the win that we fully deserve. On another night we probably would have got the win [against Liverpool] if we played as well as we did.
“We’re looking up [the Premier League table] and focusing on the next game.”
