Nathan Patterson has told Everton they need to 'keep fighting' as part of a rally cry in their bid to stay in the English Premier League.
The former Rangers youngster was called upon last night to replace Seamus Coleman - who looked to have suffered a serious injury - as the Toffees picked up a share of the spoils against fellow relegation battlers Leicester City. Sean Dyche handed the Scotland international praise following his performance labelling him as 'excellent' and he will now be hoping he has done enough to play his part in trying to keep his club side in England's top flight.
Everton have just four fixtures to play this season and currently occupy 19th spot in the division. They are one point away from safety in a battle that looks set to go to the wire. They have difficult tests against Brighton and Manchester City in the next two outings before two huge clashes with Wolves and Bournemouth.

Reacting to the four goal thriller at the King Power Stadium, Patterson wrote online: "Need to keep fighting. Away support fantastic. All thoughts with Seamus right now. Gutted for him."
On the former Light Blues full-back, Dyche told Sky Sports post-match: "It is really unfortunate and we are waiting on news. It looks like a knee injury and it could be serious, so we don't know yet.
"I thought he was terrific so it is a real loss to us. But I thought Patto [Nathan Patterson] did really well, it's not east coming on in games like that, and I thought he was excellent."
Dominic Calvert-Lewin handed Everton the lead after 15 minutes from the penalty spot but Caglar Soyuncu levelled just seven minutes later. Jamie Vardy then completed the turnaround with 33 minutes on the clock but the Toffees fought back with Alex Iwobi on target for what could prove a crucial point by the end of matchday 38.
