Everton defender Nathan Patterson has thanked supporters for their support after he was stretchered off in Scotland's 3-0 win over Ukraine on Wednesday night.
The 20-year-old has established himself as a starter under Frank Lampard and has played 90 minutes in every single one of the Blues' Premier League matches so far this season. He most recently featured in the 1-0 victory over West Ham last weekend before heading off on international duty.
However, he lasted less than half an hour in the victory at Hampden Park last night before he was stretchered off with what appeared to be a knee injury.

The player has since thanked supporters for their support as they nervously await to discover the extent of the injury. Everton already have an extensive injury list with Yerry Mina, Ben Godfrey and Mason Holgate all currently sidelined.
"Thanks for all the messages last night," Patterson shared in a tweet. "Really appreciate the support. The boys were great from start to finish."
Scotland boss Steve Clarke provided an update at full-time and hopes the player hasn't suffered another serious injury. Patterson missed the end of last season with an ankle problem.
Clarke told Premier Sports: "It doesn't look too good when he goes off on a stretcher. He obviously felt something on his leg, we'll just wait and see what the medics say and how it pans out. Hopefully, it's not too serious and hopefully he's not out too long."
