Saturday, January 20th at the M&S Bank Arena in Liverpool, will see two of the biggest names in women’s boxing square off in the middle of the ring as two-weight world champion Natasha Jonas defends her IBF welterweight title against former Ring junior lightweight world champion Mikaela Mayer.
Natasha Jonas (14-2-1, 9 KOs) from Liverpool in England previously held the IBF, WBC, and IBF junior middleweight titles and won the first-ever Ring championship in that division. She will be making her first defense of the IBF title, which she won with a knockout victory over Canadian Kandi Wyatt earlier this year.
