
An accountant who was trying to get to the bottom of a pro-independence group’s finances has told a court an ex-SNP MP used cash raised for the organisation “to cover her own expenses”.
Elizabeth Young, who helped Women for Independence, told Glasgow Sheriff Court on Thursday that there were concerns around the finances when she started at the campaign group, which grew when she tried to get information from Natalie McGarry.
