An Emmerdale star has spoken of how the cast have been left fearing for their futures in recent weeks.
As Emmerdale fans know, we’ve seen a lot of characters killed off in recent weeks as part of the ITV’s soap’s 50th anniversary storylines. Natalie Ann Jamieson, who plays Amy Wyatt, has opened up about how rumoured exits impact the Emmerdale cast.
“We’ve had lots of leaving parties lately,’ Natalie said, as reported by The Mirror. “It’s strange and sad, but it’s the nature of soaps. There’s always a turnaround. Any minute could be your last so you just enjoy every moment.

“You hear there’s a serial killer and you automatically think ‘we’re all going to die, it’s definitely going to be me’. In your head, you’ve already written it ‘of course it’s going to be me because I did this’.
“You join the dots. It’s always a relief when it’s not.” In the last few weeks, Emmerdale fans have had to pay a farewell to Katherine Dow Blyton, Michael Wildman and Isobel Steele.
