Nat-Gas Prices Tumble on Ample US Inventories

United States Gas Prices EIA Nymex Natural Gas BNEF

January Nymex natural gas (NGF25) on Wednesday closed sharply lower by -0.263 (-7.59%)

Jan nat-gas prices sold off Wednesday after weekly nat-gas inventories fell less than expected.  The EIA reported that nat-gas inventories fell by -2 bcf, a smaller draw than expectations of -3 bcf.   That puts nat-gas inventories +7.2% above their 5-year seasonal average for this time of year, signaling ample nat-gas supplies.
