Nat-Gas Prices Settle Higher as Australian LNG Workers Began a Partial Strike

October Nymex natural gas (NGV23) on Friday closed +0.026 (+1.01%).

Nat-gas prices on Friday settled moderately higher on carryover support from a rally in European nat-gas prices.  European gas prices have surged more than 10% over the past two sessions on supply concerns after LNG workers at key Chevron sites in Australia began partial strikes after talks with management failed to reach an agreement.  Workers said they will stop work completely for two weeks starting September 14 if no deal is reached.
